WATERBASED FLEXO - HYDROFLEX

Hydroflex has been developed as the first truly universal Waterbased ink manufactured with the demands of the Asia Pacific region in mind. It is suitable for use on the vast majority of substrates commonly used by label producers, from high gloss clay coated to uncoated papers as well as top coated and economy grade thermal papers.

It is also suitable for most top coated synthetic materials such as PE, PP, PVC, TYVEK, Metallised paper and foils.

Hydroflex combines the ease of use and colour strength of a traditional paper ink with the properties required for filmic & thermal applications, thus eliminating the need for separate inks for paper, film or thermal types of inks. This unique feature leads directly to greatly reduced ink inventories when thermal and synthetic stocks are used and also eliminate the risk of using the wrong ink on the wrong stock.

The other major benefit is that the enhanced formulation used in Hydroflex has superior press stability leading to reduced press downtime and visibly better print quality. When combined with the increased colour strength and low viscosity that will dry at high press speeds and yet remain open on the plate and Anilox the arrival of Hydroflex is a major step forward for label printers in this region.
