VARNISHES AND COATINGS

To compliment the Hydroflex and Cureflex range of inks, Iconix Inks also produces a full range of varnishes and coatings.

Our Waterbased flexo range of varnishes is the Hydrocoat product which is manufactured in Melbourne and formulated to meet the specific needs of the Regions label industry. The standard range covers Hydrocoat Gloss, Hydrocoat Matt and Hydrocoat Thermal Transfer varnishes. Varnishes to meet more unusual applications are available on request such as Adhesive Deadeners, High Chemical Resistance, Moisture Resistant and so on.

For UV Flexo producers we manufacture the Curecoat range with the standard products again being the High Gloss, Matt and Thermal Transfer applications. As with Hydrocoat there are many different variations available including version such as Low Odour, High Resistance, Raised Image, COF Controllable and adhesive Deadener.

Rounding out this product is a range of UV cured adhesives for applications such as Laminating, Cold Foiling and Release Coatings. Our team of technical specialists can also advise on any type of varnish or adhesive need and formulate a product to meet the specific application being addressed.
